This route begins at the Tigerville Trailhead, which is popular because of the many trails you can access going south, north, and west. There is rich mining history, old cabins, and great scenery. The roads are basic Forest Service Roads that are easy to follow. A spark arresting exhaust silencer or end cap is required as well as a Black Hills National Forest Trail Permit.
